It is the registered proof of the new technique I brought to the visual arts, which was announced to the whole world by the interview made by WGN, the national television of the USA, during my exhibition I opened at The Art Institute of Chicago museum in July 1987 and during my performances that lasted for 12 days.
Yucel Donmez, who is considered to be the father of the pouring technique, first announced his technique to the public in July 1987 with his exhibition at the Junior Museum of the art institute of Chicago and his performances that lasted for 12 days. WGN television, which broadcast Dönmez's technique, was also awarded the "Chicago's Very Own" award, registering the technique and style that the artist brought to the world of visual arts. The pouring technique, which was not used before July 1987, has been used by hundreds of thousands of artists until today, after Yucel Donmez opened his technique in one of the three most famous museums in America to the world, and they have started to use the technique in various ways according to themselves. Today, Donmez continues to use his technique in a very different way, to provide control in his art and to convey messages of unity with his philosophy. In the book written by the famous Spanish art writer and philosopher, curator Nilo Casares, Dönmez is shown as an artist who created the art of Quantum Optics and brought a new concept of art to the world of visual arts.
